VANGENT, INC. WINS SPOT ON MARINE CORPS COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISE OMNIBUS SUPPORT SERVICES (CEOss) BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT

October 9, 2007 - Vangent, Inc., a leading global provider of information management and business process outsourcing solutions, today announced it won a subcontracting role on the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) Blanket Purchase Agreement, as part of a team led by prime contractor DTI Associates, Inc. – A Haverstick Company. The 10-year, multiple-award BPA contract, valued at approximately $1B, supports MCSC in all aspects of acquisition, engineering, logistics and technology. Broad areas of support include Engineering and Scientific Services; Acquisition, Logistics and Administrative Services; Business and Analytical Services; and Specialty Engineering Services. Specific work to be performed will be detailed in individual task orders issued under the BPA.
Under the contract, Vangent and other DTI Associates team members will provide a wide range of diverse engineering, configuration/data management, administrative support, security management, acquisition management, test and evaluation, acquisition logistics and financial management support. The team will perform the following functions:
- Increase the Professional Support Services options available to MCSC
- Heighten the level of competition to drive improvements in creativity, innovation and efficiency
- Provide additional opportunities to small business partners who constitute more than 40% of the team’s strength
- Deliver a wide range of innovative world-class support to the Marine Corps
