Blueprint Technologies Unveils Enterprise Modernization Methodology
Unique Approach Integrates Operations from Enterprise to Solution Level, Reducing Risk and Maximizing Efficiencies
Washington, D.C., September 21, 2005—Blueprint Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise architecture and iterative development solutions and services, today announced its Enterprise Modernization Methodology. The announcement was issued at the E-Gov Institute’s Fifth Annual Enterprise Architecture Conference and Exhibition, held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
Blueprint’s newly launched Enterprise Modernization Methodology is the result of decades of enterprise and solutions architecture experience. Unlike typical disjointed approaches, this unique methodology takes architecture from the high level of the enterprise down to specific solution development steps, helping to ensure an integrated, fully leveraged operational process. This approach combines enterprise architecture (EA), business process modeling (BPM) and service oriented architecture (SOA) tools and services to optimize and modernize everyday operations.
EA provides a global view of the enterprise that links business, data, systems, technology and security perspectives to drive transformation planning. BPM identifies, analyzes and segments business processes to help organizations identify opportunities for service improvement and increased efficiency. SOA is the underlying framework that guides current and future application development and integration, linking IT capabilities through open standards. With the integration of these three areas, Blueprint has created an iterative, model-driven methodology with reusable technology assets to rapidly define, design, and align business processes, software services, and architecture development.
“Blueprint’s most important asset is our customers, and our new Enterprise Modernization Methodology is geared towards helping them meet important standards, maximize operational success and make the most of their IT investments,” stated Jeanne O’Kelley, President and CEO of Blueprint Technologies. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to make this key announcement at this year’s E-Gov Enterprise Architecture Conference and Exhibition, where we have the chance to speak directly with government agencies about how this model can help them best meet their enterprise architecture requirements.”
