OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Industry Veteran Brings Over 20 Years of Federal Government, Information Technology and Consulting Experience to Lead Vangent’s Business Development

September 17, 2007 - Vangent, Inc., a leading global provider of information management and business process outsourcing solutions, today announced it named Lamont Silves as its new Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Prior to joining Vangent, Silves was Senior Vice President of Strategic Development at CACI International, where he was responsible for CACI’s growth in the civilian, defense and intelligence markets. Prior to CACI, Silves spent nine years with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he grew CSC’s business with the Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency, Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense Health Affairs. He was also a Principal and Senior Consultant with CSC Consulting.
In addition to his experience in the private sector, Silves served as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State and as a member of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
Silves graduated from George Washington University with a M.S. in Information Systems and American University with a B.A. in International Studies. He is multilingual with knowledge of Spanish, French, German and Russian.
