VANGENT, INC. NAMES NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Gerald (Jerry) D. Calhoun Brings Over 20 Years of Experience as Human Resources Professional and Executive to Lead Realigned HR Organization

Arlington, VA, June 18, 2007 - Vangent, Inc., a leading global provider of information management and business process outsourcing solutions, announced today it has named Gerald (Jerry) D. Calhoun its new Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Calhoun has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources professional and executive, as well as 7 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Labor.

Calhoun has been with Vangent since March 2006, serving as Director of Human Resources and HR Business Partner to Vangent’s Health Solutions and Blueprint Solutions business units.

Prior to joining Vangent, Calhoun served as Chief Operating Officer of KMS, LLC and Scendis Corporation, and Vice President of Human Resources at Telos Corporation. He has also held similar positions at Ford Aerospace Corporation and Halifax Engineering Corporation. In addition to his experience in the private sector, Calhoun has served as District Director of the Washington, D.C. office of the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Office of Federal Contract Compliance. Prior to that, Calhoun served as Area Director, Central New York State, for the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, Office of Contract Compliance.

Calhoun holds a Masters degree in African and African American Studies, and a Bachelors degree in Political Science, both from the University of New York at Albany.

In his new role with Vangent, Calhoun will play a critical role in growing the company through his leadership of a newly realigned human resources organization. The company has realigned its human resources organization to support functions previously performed by its former parent company.
