Gregory R. Allen and Jerry Ambrosh Join Vangent as Business Development Directors, Bringing Deep Experience in Key Markets to Grow Company’s Civilian and Health Business

June 13, 2007 - Vangent, Inc., a leading global provider of information management and business process outsourcing solutions, announced today the addition of two new directors to strengthen the company’s business development organization.
Gregory R. Allen has joined Vangent as Director of Business Development for Enterprise Solutions. Allen has 26 years of experience in the U.S. federal government market in operations, management and business development, and will be responsible for growing Vangent’s business at the Departments of Agriculture, Treasury and Veterans Affairs.
Jerry Ambrosh has joined the company as Director of Business Development for Health Solutions. Ambrosh has over 11 years of sales and leadership experience across several market segments, and will be responsible for growing Vangent’s business with the U.S. Department of Defense, Military Health System (MHS).
Prior to joining Vangent, Allen was most recently with STG, Inc., where he served as Director of Corporate Development, leading federal sector IT business development activities. Prior to STG, Allen held positions at Premier, Inc., Vistronix, Inc., Advanced Technology Systems, Inc. and TCS, Inc. Allen was also a member of the United States Navy as a Qualified Surface Warfare Officer. He is a published writer and an active community leader. Allen holds a Masters of Engineering Administration degree from George Washington University and a B.S. in Business Management from Virginia Tech.
Prior to joining Vangent, Ambrosh was Vice President of Business Development at Apptis, Inc., where he managed the sales efforts and business capture process for their MHS account. Prior to Apptis, Ambrosh served in similar roles at Spectrum Solutions Group and Oracle Corporation. Ambrosh holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Massachusetts. He is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
