PEARSON CONSOLIDATES FACILITIES; SHOWS GROWTH IN ARLINGTON
ARLINGTON, VA, June 2, 2004 - Pearson Government Solutions today completed a consolidation of its Arlington-area
offices, culminating in a new headquarters location in Ballston for the
government contracting company.
Pearson Government Solutions, which has experienced considerable growth in
recent years, consolidated its four locations in the Arlington area into
one, occupying more than 88,000 square feet of space in the 4250 N.
Fairfax Drive building. Pearson Government Solutions, along with its
subsidiary KEI Pearson, now occupy four floors of the building and employ
over 300 people.
The addition of the "Pearson" name on the building's exterior demonstrates
"growth, a sign of success.it is a testimony of our longevity and
commitment to our customers," said Mac Curtis, president and CEO, during
the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Pearson Government Solutions is a top-ranked federal government
contractor, jumping from No. 60 in 2003 to No. 44 this year in Washington
Technology's "Top 100" list of federal contractors. In addition to its
Arlington headquarters, the company has significant operations in
Coralville, Iowa; Corbin, Ky., Lawrence, Kan., and Phoenix, Ariz. The
company employs more than 3,000 people.
