Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Distribution Center (DDC), J-3/J-4

CRM Program
Vangent personnel, with their thorough understanding of wholesale and retail supply operations, logistics, and customer service management, provide SAP CRM implementation expertise to the DLA/Extended Enterprise Provider team. Our team enhances the SAP product delivered to DLA and DDC by identifying areas requiring correction and opportunities for improvement and providing Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) by leveraging the strength of the team to review deliverable documentation and resulting products.

Stock Positioning Program
This program supports the DDC in the implementation of Department of Defense (DoD), DLA, and DDC initiatives like Business Systems Modernization (BSM) and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). Under BSM we focus on the construction of software used in developing hub and spoke distribution parameters for optimization of the distribution of material within the DoD. Under BRAC we assist in redesigning the distribution network to facilitate consolidation of supply, storage, and distribution functions and reduce delivery time variability and costs.

Headquarters AMC, G-3 Enterprise Integration (EI) Directorate, Enterprise Integration Support

The AMC G-3 EI Directorate oversees the AMC transformation to the new logistics frontier. Vangent staff supports EI with analyses, strategic business, and action planning; high-performance work; development of performance measures and indicators; definition and design of process and productivity improvements; and logistics meetings and conference support. We also provide program management, integration, and oversight of major programs: Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), and Army Transformation.
