Michael Plymack is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Health Solutions, and has more than 32 years of commercial and public sector experience with expertise in consulting, systems integration and strategic business process outsourcing.

Mr. Plymack has proven expertise in business solutions including all aspects of practice management, strategic outsourcing, software development and package integration and the creation and deployment of solution assets. Mr. Plymack leads the Vangent business unit that serves the commercial and public sector healthcare markets.

Vangent’s Health Solutions business unit offers a broad portfolio of solutions encompassing the entire value chain, from consulting (Design) to systems integration (Build) to business process
outsourcing (Operate). Clients include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), other offices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Medicare Part D plan sponsors and healthcare providers and payers.

Prior to joining Vangent, Mr. Plymack was President of the Health and Human Services Systems Division of Maximus, Inc., where he successfully led the company’s health systems business in the state and local and international government markets.

Prior to his tenure at Maximus, Mr. Plymack enjoyed a 30-year career at IBM Corporation. In his last role at IBM, he was a Vice President and Public Sector Practice Leader at IBM Global Services, where he was responsible for business across six practices focused on government delivery of services to citizens. Mr. Plymack held other senior level roles at IBM including Vice President and Program Executive responsible for IBM’s global business with an international electronics manufacturer and Principal and Practice Executive for ERP Integration Services.

Mr. Plymack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Cornell University.
