Giovanna Patterson is the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Ms. Patterson has more than 20 years of business development and program management experience in the federal civilian, health, defense and intelligence sectors.

From 1997 to 2008, Ms. Patterson served as Vice President and Business Development Director, Global Health Sector for SRA International, Inc. In that role, she led a senior business development team in growing SRA’s $4B pipeline of health-related leaders across multiple markets. She also developed strategies and supported capture efforts that contributed more than $1B worth of new awards, often penetrating new agencies.

While at SRA International, she was selected by the CEO and CFO to lead the integration of the company’s largest acquisition, Constella Group, comprising of 1,600 employees operating in more than 40 countries. She led a team of 40 senior leverage and business leaders to address all aspects of the integration including finance, infrastructure, branding, communication, employee benefits, contracts, facilities, security and procurement.

Prior to working for SRA International, Ms. Patterson served in a variety of roles at TRW. In her last position there, she served as Program Manager for the Intelligence Division.

Ms. Patterson holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from George Washington University and a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

She also serves on the Industry Advisory Council and as co-chair of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Health IT Committee.
