Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Enterprise Business Modernization (EBM)
Vangent is creating an Enterprise Business Modernization (EBM) System. The new system will allow DISA to better manage its procurement lifecycle, allowing efficient, integrated "one-stop shopping" for DISA's Procurement and Logistics/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (PL/DITCO).

We lead a team of subcontractor partners in providing technical assistance, project management and business process analysis and support. We are responsible for the design, development, integration and implementation of the new system. When fully deployed the system will be accessible around the world.

EBM, an eProcurement system making maximum use of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, addresses all of PL/DITCO's requirements: Buyer Management, Order Management, Data Management and Reporting, Workflow and Document Management, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Management, Information Security and Interface Management.

Federal Government Client
Vangent provides BPM services focused on improving inefficient information technology processes to a classified Federal Government client. Previously, the client's corporate business technology was a disparate set of platforms, software systems, data types, and data repositories. Software applications that interfaced with these technologies did not share or process data in a common way. The result: expensive add-ons, cumbersome workarounds, and the loss of valuable time. To help resolve this problem, Vangent focused on the organization's business needs and maintained clear lines of communications that helps the customer build applications that truly serve their agency's objectives. Through Business Process Analysis (BPA), we help the customer design a future process, create an action plan, and develop metrics that support efficient implementation and future viability of their business technology and workflow.
